How the work is done: from start to finish
Project outline
It is very important and helpful for me to have a clear idea of your needs and expectations, in other words - your vision of what has to be drawn. Some people might have very direct and precise specifications, while others' ideas can be quite vague. Both ways, I will need to get as much information about your future project as possible. This might include your target audience, general atmosphere/feeling, preferred drawing style, degree of detail, examples of what you are looking for etc.Based on all this information, I will provide an agreement describing the project details, delivery schedule and price estimate.
Concept development
After that, I will be sending you rough sketches - and this is the stage where all the creative tweaking, experimenting and changing takes place. Your input and feedback will be essential.Final art
Once the sketch gets your approval, the final version will be made. Any major changes requested after that stage are considered extra and will require additional payment. If your project involves line art that needs to be colored, I will send you a black and white version for your approval before coloring it.
File format
I do most of my drawing on the computer, working with both bitmap and vector images. The finished artwork can be supplied in both high and low resolution and in the following file formats:
.png
.tiff
.gif
.jpg
.eps
The finished files can be sent to you as e-mail attachements, be available for downloading as .zip files and/or sent to you on a CD.
